Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma)

The B.Pharm course is outlined to meet the current trends in the profession of Pharmacy. A B.Pharm graduate is competent to perform roles of a Hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Industrial Pharmacist (involved in manufacture, production, and quality control of medicines), and Medical Marketing and many more. It is a Four year fulltime undergraduate program divided into eight semesters. The curriculum consists of theory & practical subjects, practice school, and project work in the last semester followed by compulsory Industrial training. Various courses/subjects train the students in the area of human health & diseases, action of drugs, synthesis & manufacturing of drugs, medicinal plants & herbal drugs, drug analysis, legal requirements, ethics, etc. thus creating core competence in handling multiple responsibilities of the pharmaceutical sector.
