Admission Process

Eligibility

First year B. Pharm:

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B /P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

B. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester):
A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Documents required for B.Pharm:

  • 10th standard pass certificate for proof of date of birth (Original + 3 attested copies)
  • 12th standard/equivalent marks card (Original + 3 attested copies)
  • Transfer certificate from the institution last attended (Original + 3 attested copies)
  • Conduct certificate from the institution last attended
  • Migration certificate from the Board of the institution last attended
  • Eligibility certificate for non-Karnataka students
  • Income certificate and caste certificate
  • Rural study certificate (If applicable)
  • Blood group certificate
  • Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background, of resolution 300-600 dpi & size 35 mm x 45 mm (P.P size 5 Nos.) & size 20 mm x 25 mm (Stamp size 5 Nos.)
  • Aadhaar card copy of the student.

Management Procedure

To secure admission through the management quota for B.Pharm, you have the option to submit your application either online or offline. The selection process involves a personal interview conducted by a panel of subject experts and institute professors. Your acceptance into the program depends on your performance in this interview. Successful candidates can proceed with direct admission by submitting their original certificates to the college during the admission process.

CET Procedure

For the CET process:

  • Candidates are required to participate in the annual Karnataka Common Entrance Test (Karnataka CET) conducted by KEA, Bangalore.
  • Following the release of results, candidates must register for counseling.
  • The counselling process consists of two rounds.
  • Document verification takes place at designated help centres, and candidates receive a verification slip.
  • With the verification slip, candidates can select their preferred courses and colleges.
  • Online allocation of seats for undergraduate courses is conducted.
  • Seat allotments are based on the candidates’ ranks in the Karnataka CET Examination.
