The First Annual Sports Meet of Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puttur, began with a prayer and the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dr. K.M. Krishna Bhat and President Dr. K. Ashok Prabhu.The event commenced with a disciplined march past by 1st and 2nd-year B.Pharm students, followed by a welcome address from Principal Dr. Gururaja M.P. The Chief Guest hoisted the flag and delivered an inspiring speech on sportsmanship and discipline.

The Krida Jyothi relay symbolized unity, with torchbearers Kiran S.N., Tejas, Sathwi M.V., and Sachin S. lighting the sports torch. Ms. Gouthami led the Athlete’s Oath, reaffirming fair play.

In his presidential address, Dr. K. Ashok Prabhu emphasized the balance between sports and academics. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sports Coordinator Mr. Shantanu Kamath, marking a successful sports meet.
