The Career Guidance and Placement cell organized a guest lecture on 10 January 2024 by Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puttur, at Lecture Hall III. The program started with welcoming the resource person Ms. Mahitha. She is a Regulatory Specialist at RIMS at GSK Consumer Healthcare India. She completed her B.Pharm from Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Mangalore, and her M.Pharm from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. She worked in Dr. Reddy’s laboratories in Hyderabad, currently, she is working in GSK PVT. Limited as a Regulatory specialist. After her introduction, she delivered a talk on the topic Beyond Medicine: Unlocking Opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. She interacted with a student on her valuable industrial information regarding Regulatory affairs, Pharma career, and Industrial information such as work culture, job description, and key skills. At the end of the session, the Principal of Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puttur, Dr.Gururaja M.P. gave a token of appreciation to Ms Mahitha.
