World Pharmacists Day was celebrated on September 2023 by Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puttur at the seminar hall. The theme of World Pharmacist Day is “Pharmacist Strengthening Health System – Angadaan Mahadan” The function was officially started with a prayer followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The correspondent Sri. Govinda Prakash Saya delivered the welcome speech, and the honourable guest Dr. Deepak Rai addressed the importance of organ donation president of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Dr. K. Prabhakara Bhat delivered a presidential address. In his address, he motivated all students and asked them to pursue their dreams and use the enormous facilities provided by the institution. P. Vasudeva Bhat addressed the importance of the Pharmacist healthcare system. At the end of the program, Dr. Gururaja M.P. delivered the vote of thanks.
